"Safe, Secure and Affordable Housing for All"

Task Force Monthly General Meetings

Task Force Monthly General Meetings

The Task Force holds General Meetings open to all on the first Monday of each month. These General Meetings are held at the First United Methodist Church, 1551 Montgomery Drive, Santa Rosa, in the McMullin room, the brown door to the right of the main courtyard entrance. All are welcome, and you can just show up. You do not need to be a member, and no advance notice is required.

At Task Force General Meetings we generally have a presentation and/or discussion to explore in depth the issues related to homelessness. For the last year we have been examining issues related to ending chronic homelessness, such as Mental Health, Employment, Health Services, Alcohol and Drug Issues, Benefits Assistance, etc., as well as Value-Based Services. We also share information and discuss action on advocacy issues and opportunities, funding and resource development, housing and service programs, committees, projects, and events. Participants have the chance to share announcements as well. We generally have a participant mix of service and housing agencies, local government representatives, religious congregations, housing and service advocates, interested members of the public, and homeless people themselves. Please join us! For more information contact Georgia Berland at sctaskforce@aol.com.
